Help Selecting Long-Range Motion Detector

Hey all,

I have a project requiring some long range motion detectors. What are your go-to solutions for outdoor sensors? This is for an auto dismantling facility with lots of metal objects. I was thinking of using an Axis D2050-VE radar detector, but their manual says metal objects will reduce its effective range. I'm looking at the Optex Redwall units, but the price is fairly high for the larger coverage patterns (such as the SIP-5030). I also see the Redwalls require training & special install tools. Appreciate any suggestions!
