I have a bid evaluation from a manufacturer whom I do not know. The integrator is proposing Qumulex QxControl for both access and video. The project is about 50 doors 50 cameras. There are also 30 or so emergency (panic buttons) and intrusion detection points. Once completed, there will be little or no additions; so a lot of expansion is not needed. This system is both simple and complex. Simple in the sense of operation by the Owner; and complex as it relates to the interoperability (i.e. doors locking and unlocking, upon activation of panic buttons; credentials being authorized upon sounding of the burglar alarm, higher frame rates upon opening of doors, yada, yada).
So has anyone ever used this product or have any knowledge of this company or the systems they provide? IPVM experts, please weigh in on this.
