Can Geovision VMS system use Dell EMC Isilon One-FS solution?  Looking to replace existing GeoVision Recorders and replace with Dell EMC Isilon NAS solution.

GV should be able to write configured as an ISCSI connection. Create 1 LUN for each read-write connection(NVR) as to not conflict NTFS. Use LACP to connect to the NAS. If building on Raid 5, strongly suggest High Availability (2 ISILONS) or you can go Raid 6 for the cheaper alternative. 10GbE Connectivity is affordable, make sure switch also is 10GbE. Last, make sure you are using surveillance grade drives and pay attention to what to the recommended Unit Allocation Size when formatting the drive(windows). After formatting, write to a folder within the drive and not just to the drive. Another option to HA is multicast to 2 NAS at Raid 0/5/6, it all depends how critical the video is to keep.

Budget: Synology or FreeNAS are cheaper to build than EMC, Good Luck

I really appreciate the feedback of potentially using existing Dell EMC Isilon NAS to store Geovision camera footage.  Thanks
