GDPR Implications For Access To EU Cameras In The USA?

My company is headquartered in the US. We will soon own a space in the EU where they want to install cameras. Our Integrator will work with a Security Net Partner in the EU to do the install. Our SOC in the US will manage and maintain the cameras, which will be recording to on board SD cards.

I'm interested in GDPR implications for us having access to the cameras and recordings in the EU, while we're in the US. Does the GDPR see a distinction.
