The following 2 trends are inevitable:

(1) Large corporations sensitivity to cyber security scrutiny will increase across the board whether its dealing with USBs, IDSes or IP cameras. 

(2) Many video surveillance dealers will downplay this as not important and urge buying the lowest cost product since anything could be hacked.

The outcome I see is that many smaller organizations will forget about it in the next few weeks but bigger organizations will even more tightly vet and more quickly bar products that have worse track records.
