Chicago police posted this video of an assault during a robbery, asking for help identifying the attacker:
The police say that the two suspects were locked in by the employees before police were called.
Although nothing is mentioned about it, notice at the end of the video during the door break (a little laminate would have gone a long way here) that there is apparently someone (customer) still in the store.
So much for free egress.
Also, notice the video pause for 3-4 secs a couple of times, almost missing the assault.
