I'm curious to hear member feedback regarding HLC. From past articles, I see it name dropped here and there, but nothing in terms of a genuine discussion and, for those who have used it, the usefulness of HLC.
From what I have seen both recently and from past use, overall image quality improvement using HLC can range from marginal to good, as previously shown in our IR shootout. HLC is used to effect here to minimize/subdue the harsh IR overexposure used by the camera:
