Does anyone use Dahua NVR's and email setup?
We have our own domain emails. jay@mycompany.com and they go through Gmail (Google Business Email)
If I try to use a company email that goes through Gmail, I cant get the test email to work. If I use my personal Gmail address (jay@gmail) it works fine.
Do you have to use an actual Gmail account?
Anyone using this to detect video loss? Does it work well?
Actually, this is a gmail thing. Did you enable 3rd party apps in your company email account?
If you mean allow less secure apps, then yes. This is already enabled due to other integrations.
I think we got it sorted out. We were using multiple email accounts for testing and the one we used the most still had secure apps off.
