So today's topic for me is the practice of clients charging annually to verify our references and insurance. We have customers that provide a portal to register as a vendor. Not an uncommon practice in this day and age. We provide several web pages of information and at the very end, there is a 150.00 fee to submit the "application".
This has become an all too common practice. I for one have no intention of paying for the privilege of receiving monies owed to my company.
