Connected Hikvision NVR Via 4G, 1GB Data Plan Exhausted, Random Packets Sent To AWS, What's Happening?

Hi all. We have a client who wanted remote access to their Hikvision NVR via 4G. We installed a Permaconn GPRS device for with a 1GB data plan and connected it directly to the NVR. The client went to view the NVR and found the data exhausted. It seems the NVR is randomly transmitting 40-60Mb packets of data to an AWS and neither Hikvision nor Permaconn can account for what the data is. It seems too much to simply be firmware/software related. Any pointers?
