Looking for a reputable manufacturer(s) of camera housings suitable for clean rooms (pharma production application)? If you have done installs in clean rooms, what are the "gotchas?"

Jan 05, 2018Is there a more specific requirement than 'cleanroom' compliant?
Usually there are degrees of how stringent controls need to be.
Cameras are available all the way from nitrogen purged/positive pressure housings down to nasty old PTZs that have gearboxes or drive wheels that toss dust and static in the air, so the exact requirement is helpful. It could be a huge price difference too, on the order of thousands of dollars.

Jan 05, 2018Yeah, I've installed in a meat packing facility. It can go from sparkling clean at the start of the day to pretty dirty at the end of a shift. We didn't do anything special that would apply to a pharma production scenario that I know of. But haven't done a pharma production install either.
