Cisco To Acquire Splunk - Do You Use Splunk?

An announcement from Cisco today states they are in agreement to acquire Splunk for $157 per share in cash for about $28 billion.

Splunk is health monitoring software that helps organizations identify security and performance issues. Logs from disconnected services and systems (i.e. logs from routers, switches, servers, AWS, sales, customer satisfaction, etc) can be viewed in one single location in a GUI with notifications when KPIs drop to alert levels, along with other features and products.
