An asphalt plant is in process of enclosing the area where the material is dropped into the trucks. The operator will not be able to see that the truck is lined up properly once the enclosure is completed. They would like to use a camera that is positioned near the chute and basically looking straight down. Our concern is that it will likely be extremely hot for a few minutes at a time while the truck is being filled. A quick search indicates that asphalt is typically between 270-320 degrees. Even though the hot asphalt would not likely ever come in contact with the camera, it will still be approx 6' away. We have been looking around for a camera or enclosure that would be appropriate for this environment. Any suggestions?
