Bad Ubiquiti Firmware Updates? Anyone Impacted?
A few days ago, Ubiquiti pushed firmware 1.9.0 to Dream Machine users and Unifi Network version 6.1.61, and they have caused problems, to say the least. I first became aware of it because my home network showed a bunch of random overnight disconnects, then heard about wifi SSID problems from someone else. It turns out I cannot access any pages on the network controller, because they're having page load issues in this version. Here's hoping my network stays up and running because their only solution to page load issues is to use the new UI instead of classic (which I was, and it still doesn't load), so I can't make any changes.
I checked the UBNT forums and sure enough, the thread for 1.9.0 is 28 pages long with reports of these issues and many more. Everything from VLANs no longer functioning to WAN problems.
