I have one camera installation that for some reason ants are ferociously attacking. The camera is a P3245-LVE, and it's installed in the same manner I've installed hunderds of others. For some reason, ants are attacking and eating through the rubber cable grommets at this location. The ants then get inside the camera and destroy it within days.
The first time it happened, I incorrectly assumed that I had torn the grommet during install and didn't notice, so I replaced the ant-filled camera. The same thing happened 2 weeks later. This time they actually ate the entire rubber material that forms the seal to the cable (leaving only the outer ring).
