Last week, we had "Unmasking IPVM" - "John Honovich Should Be Cancelled." This week, we have a military conspiracy theory despite only 2 of our 25+ team members having ever been in the military.
Queue Redditor "Eastern_Lightning" who falsely declares:
He correctly links to the 2 IPVM team members who have served in the military but then he says "all are US military" and "most of their members are ex-US military" when those are the only two people in IPVM.
We are certainly proud of exposing abuses of surveillance across the world, in the PRC and USA but it has nothing to do with the US military or the US government. As we have mentioned elsewhere, our experience is that the US government has not been aggressive enough about dealing with abuses of surveillance whether in the USA or PRC. More needs to be done.
