1. Integrated IR: VISIX 2MP High-Definition Analog Dome Camera w/ Infrared - Front door camera for office buildings especially with some, but few street lights for nighttime illumination.

2. Super Low Light: Dahua DH-PTZ19240V-IRB-N - Camera for large outdoor areas that have completely no lighting during closing hours such as a theme park or any other large venue.

3. Thermal: Flir PT-304 - This camera has PTZ and is also good at long range detection, so this thermal camera would be great to mount around a central location like a warehouse or a central facility to be able to monitor and detect intrusions from all over the perimeter, even from afar.

Pelco ES6230-15P-R2: Has an IR range of up to 200m and PTZ functionality which would make it ideal for monitoring rooftops on a campus for example.

Super Low Light:

Dahua N68BR4V: This panoramic camera seems to be a good solution for monitoring a closed room with no outside light (i.e. storeroom).

Thermal: 

Axis Q1931-E 13mm: Appears to be a good solution for fixed monitoring of generators or other devices in danger of overheating.

Integrated IR Dome: Avigilon 1.0C-H3A-D1-IR: Use = anywhere where low light is a problem and there is a need to be covert, perhpas perimeter security or hallway security for a break-in type target... school, pharmacy, liquor store, etc.

Super Low Light: Axis Q3505-V Mk II: Use = anywhere where there is the very low light. According to the marketing speak on the spec sheet, I can use it to ID people, cars, etc. in harsh lighting... 

The spec sheet says a whole lot about the different minimum lux levels based on a bunch of criteria that I don't completely understand:

Thermal: Flir A310PT: Use = anywhere where visibility may be hampered by something other than low light: Heavy fog (San Francisco, London or any other uber foggy place). Or perhaps on a perimeter where there are lots of shrubs or tall grasses to create a light, patchy screen. Or perhaps on a rescue boat at sea, where seeing the heat signature of a crash survivor bobbing in the waves would be more valuable than hoping they have something luminous on them.

Integrated Dome: Hikvision DS-2CD45C5F-IZH.  Outdoor 4K with 40m (130') of IR range. It claims 0.01 Lux minimum, so with the high IR range and high pixel count, it could cover a wider FoV like a parking lot.

Low Light: Hanwha XNB-800.  Indoor MP with 0.009 Lux and no IR.  This could be used in a corridor area that typically is dark most of the time, like a movie theater hallway.

Thermal: Flir PT-602CZ HD. Large, indoor,  PTZ camera with 14X optical zoom. It has built-in analytics that can track a moving target and hand-off to other cameras. It could be used inside a large, highly secure area with open areas.  Likely very expensive.

Integrated IR: Vivotek FD8355EHV: 1.3MP Integrated IR rated claimed 30m, 3-10mm lense, claimed minimum lux rating of 0.0. Surveillance of storage room with zero light from outside.

Low Light: Axis P1365MkII: 1080p 2.8mm - 8.0mm lense no onboard IR, claimed minimum lux rating 0.11, box camera. Surveillance of dimly lit area such as a interior hallway or stairwell.

Thermal: Hikvision DS-2TD2235D-25: Thermal camera. Surveillance of sensitive areas such as an airport looking for stowaways or intruders that may otherwise be impossible to spot.

3xLOGIC VA-2MD-OD-RIWH (Integrated IR)

This is best for an entry way.

This is best for parking lots of businesses.

AXIS Q8641-E (Thermal)

This is good for remote areas such as data centers.

Thermal: Geutebruck ETHC-2330, thermal detection up to 160 meters(!), multiple color sequences, perimeter detection in complete darkness.

Integrated IR: Geutebruck EFD-3258, IR provides illumination up to 130 feet at 0 lux. High-value price point for general installations.

Super Low Light: Geutebruck EFD-3439, IR provides illumination up to 150 feet at 0 lux. Guess what else? It's 4K, fantastic all-arounder.

Sorry didn't use the finder, I used what I've spec'd in the past since Geutebruck is our in-house recommendation!

Bosch NUC-21012-F2 

This camera is made for indoor use, not a specific location specified.

I chose three cameras as noted to meet this assignment from one manufacturer, and will note a best fit for each in one specific overall environment, a prison.  

Dome Camera - Axis M3105-LVE - which can be used to monitor non-critical areas around the outside main entrance to the lobby of the facility to provide monitoring of general traffic.

Super Low Light - Axis P1367-E Features Box Camera - which can be used to monitor where low light may be present - such as in general work and secure outdoor locations around buildings. Might also use in maintenance or holding areas which would traditionally have very low light in the evening.   

Thermal - Axis Q1615 - provide secure areas on the perimeter of the facility to monitor vehicles or persons approaching from outside. 

Additional research could be added to ensure cameras integrated with access control and life safety alarm systems also - but that was a bit more than required here.

AXIS Q2901-E (Thermal) Monitors temperature and alerts to deviations. Can be used for monitoring equipment that may overheat and cause damage or be hazardous.

Dahua IPC-HDBW5631E-ZE (Integrated IR) - Vandle resistant 6MP Integrated IR. Would be suited for monitoring exterior areas like parking lots.

Interlogix TVD--5405 (Super Low Light) - 2MP camera with 120db WDR, would work well in a warehouse environment with opening dock bays to the outside.

Integrated IR - Hikvision DS-2CD2745FWD-IZS - This 4MP outdoor dome camera boasts about having a color picture with 0.011 lux and an Integrated IR that reaches 100'. This camera would be ideal for general purpose areas such as office buildings or small parking lots.

Thermal - Hikvision DS-2TD8166180ZE2F - This PTZ camera offers a Bi-spectral lens which means one is for a thermal image stream, and a second is for a colored visual stream allowing the camera it identify an intruder or potential disaster and eliminate the need for an additional camera.  This camera is perfect for monitoring large facility's for intruders and fire risks such as Military bases where IR's are not an option due to high viability from satellites.
