Researched Fortress Security
Cigars with Michael Glasser. He's in charge of physical security for Microsoft. He's also an alarm licensing instructor for the MBFAA, which is the New York City alarm association. I now know how to write the circuits post.
He also says (off the record) that Microsoft is trying to figure out how to apply Big Data techniques to false alarms. Microsoft operates their own central stations (plural), which receive 7 figures of signals annually, 3-4 of which are genuine security events. Promised to follow up. We'll hang out again sometime.
