Just curious as to how long businesses in general maintain (or archive) surveillance video. With storage being more affordable, what kind of liability is there in archiving video with personal information - i.e. license plate info, facial recognition, etc.
Working in healthcare, we try to maintain a viable retention timeframe between legal requests vs the cost for storage retention. Sometimes a single court case could justify retention for thousands of cameras indefinitely. How do you gather metrics to judge this?
