Milestone has handy feature built into their client that allows you to display a website instead of a camera in a view. The client software uses IE in emulation mode which defaults to IE7. Is it possible to force it to use a different browser like Chrome or Microsoft Edge? I am needing to display a webpage that uses some of the html5 commands.

Dec 23, 2017I don't think there's a feature to use Chrome or Edge, but you should be able to emulate a higher version of IE.

Dec 23, 2017Thanks, I have actually tinkered around with forcing the IE version but there are no versions of IE that support the html5 functionality that I need (text to speech).
Hey Milestone, how about making the Smart Client use the default browser on the PC?
