Looks like the market has finally figured out that alarm monitoring is a bad business to be in. Apollo is trying to dump ADT, and their stock price has taken a beating because of it.

The monitoring business is changing, and there's nothing anybody can do to stop it. I have been reading Lee Jones' rants on here for years, and I'm more convinced than ever that we will see either the reinvention or the total collapse of the monitoring business within the next ten years.
