Justification For No Police Response?

We believe, throughout this year 2024, remote-monitoring firms, like ADT, RapidResponse, (and several hundred peers), and their related suppliers, will experience major disruption that can permanently restructure traditional business models. All in reaction to Unnecessary Police Response, aka 95%+ False Alarms annually, from 30 million private property alarms systems, resulting in disruption of the indispensable E911 system throughout North America. Consequently, many suppliers are slower, or reluctant to make decisions, like insurance/liability decisions.

For several decades, US and Canadian Law Enforcement has depended on Alarm Industry Leadership to solve the growing false alarm problem, now about 30Million false alarms annually, that generate about $15Billion annually. Police now cannot wait… they are writing the rules, without the politics. Said differently, the private security industry is confronting. . SLOW-OR-NO POLICE RESPONSE to private property alarm systems, unless remote-witness a felony threat to people or property at an alarm site, same as other citizens. Now known as VR/Verified Response and trending as “policy” and “ordinance”. Hundreds already in service.
