Have A Uniview 4k PTZ... Can't Connect To It, Can't Get Video Out Of It - Suggestions?

Couldn't get video out of the BNC cable (borrowed a friends unit dedicated to locating IPC)...  Doesn't recognize it by BNC, doesn't find the IP. I've waited the 10 min, held the reset switch, the camera does this startup sequence of twerking - but I never get an IP. 

No video.... No IP?? Two separate systems are messed up? Seems unlikely in a unit designed for lightening strikes. no?

Have you used the ez tool to scan for it and get the correct ip?

After the device was restored, please try to access the device with the default IP address 192.168.1.13 or use our search tool, named EZtools to search the IP address of camera.

I have tried using EZ Tools repeatedly, after resetting it using the button under the panel. My email address is TrumanHW@gmail.com. 

It could be a defective unit - and I have emailed xuchuang (US support? ) and he has given me information also. 

 

No video from the BNC nor the IP getting reset seems like there's a camera issue? 

I've used tools from every other manufacture to set up my network, which is a 10.0.x.x network, and thus, they have all required it. This one for some reason, just never shows up. Only the IP of known devices...

Awesome; if I may articulate for the board to see... he's been very helpful - IMMEDIATELY helpful... even while he was waiting for me to email him pictures of my serial number, etc. Impressive.
