PSA Security Market Metrics

PSA Security, a US based cooperative for security integrators, has released an interesting video that touches on market trends that they are seeing across their 200+ members.

Here are the most interesting points we found:

• Strong sales for Hybrid NVRs for upgrades of existing analog systems
• More than 50% of new installs are now selecting IP cameras
• IP growing 'faster than what was originally thought'
• Manufacturers, like Pelco, have huge inventory of hard drives to weather shortage

All of these points are in line with what we have been reporting this year. It is very useful to hear another organization talk openly about these points.
