Under the heading Physical Overview, there appears to be a typo error identifying the form factor with the magnetic mount. I think this is suppose to read, "The Hanwha XNV-9082R uses a magnetic camera base...", not the XNV-8082R. The XNV-9082R is the dome camera, which uses the magnetic mount, which looks like a very nice feature.

I recently ordered the XNV-9082R, based on the testing here on IPVM, and am anxious to run it through some tests of my own.

I think you are right in that they made a mistake however there is an 8082r model. It is a 6mp model.

The xnv indicates a vandal outdoor door.

The xno indicates an outdoor bullet.

It’s not clear which two Hanwha X series products they have tested, the article mentions four models (at various points), XNV-8082R, XNV-9082R, XNO-8082R, XNO-9082R.

FWIW, the Hanwha site itself shows the XNV-9082R and the XNV-8082R as being absolutely identical besides the higher resolution of the 9082R:

this is the first page - but all the other pages are identical. On the other hand, IPVM’s camera finder has much different info for the 8082R.
