Vivint Settles Florida Unauthorized Sales Call Suit
Vivint has reached an undisclosed settlement in a would-be class action lawsuit in Florida alleging that the company violated state and federal telemarketing laws.
The agreement comes less than five months after the complaint was filed to stop Vivint from “making telemarketing calls to consumers who have specifically asked the Defendant to stop calling them."
In this report, IPVM examines the claims in the case and Vivint’s past controversial sales practices.
