Vivint & 2GIG Acquired for Over $2 Billion

Legendary door to door alarm sales company Vivint is being acquired for over $2 Billion by the Blackstone Group - a huge amount. Here is the official press release on the acquisition.
Interestingly, Vivint is being acquired along with alarm equipment provider, and Vivint Supplier, 2GIG. 2GIG projects over [link no longer available] $130 Million 2012 revenue. Vivint reports 2011 revenue over $350 Million.
