Despite Verkada touting the use of "solid-state drives built into each camera," a recent teardown of a Verkada camera with 30-day storage reveals otherwise.
While Verkada has admitted to using SD cards for its infrequently used 365-day storage models, it has not for its most commonly used 30-day storage ones.
