An August 2022 purchase order and emails sent from Verkada partner, Logic, to a NJ school and Verkada show they conspired to violate prevailing wage law, obtained by an IPVM public records request.
The school told IPVM that they did not intend to avoid paying the prevailing wage while Verkada said they are "looking into the matter and will take any appropriate action as necessary". The Verkada partner Logic did not respond.
Inside this report, we expose how this worked, and how the Verkada partner told the school and Verkada that labor prices could increase by 50% if they paid prevailing wages.
