Sunell's Panda Cam is the most visually recognizable coronavirus camera, sold by numerous OEMs around the world. But who is Sunell? This company is far less known than its domestic competitors Dahua and Hikvision, manufacturers at least 30x their size.
We spoke to Sunell and in this report we examine their body temperature detection system, their aggressive detection claims, how it compares to competitive systems, and potential outlook.
I saw one of these cameras in the working process. The camera worked in conjunction with "black body" installed on the ceiling in the aisle, the camera was also installed on the ceiling. The distance to the head of a person of average height was somewhere 30-40 centimeters. It works quite quickly, although there is a delay of 1-2 seconds.
But according to people who have been using it for more than a month, it works in two modes: everything is fine with you, or you have a dramatic fever.
If you want to know the exact temperature, this camera will not help you.
I'm glad this guy is fine with. But I'm talking about the scenario of using this camera when you walk down the aisle without stopping. even in your video you can see that the second person’s temperature is not measured accurately.
Mike, thanks! Interesting key quotes from the video:
All these things make employees feel so much more comfortable about coming to work...
Employees are thrilled that we are doing this
Also, noticeable, the highest person's reading shown was at 97.3 and the alarm is configured for 99.

Arecont Vision/Costar have the pandacam 3212-2000 and blackbody listed on their site, although I haven't seen pricing yet.
I watched their 3210 video and found it pretty funny that they purposefully demonstrate a false-positive way to break the temperature reading:
I'll just wear a mask, glasses, and keep a cold water bottle on the top of my head and beat all the thermal detecting cameras at their own game, HA!
