Will Q&A sessions be uploaded also with an overview of topics discussed?

We will not be uploading the Q&A because the topics covered don't always fit the show theme.

Would have been nice to be able to do some comparison table or something.

As someone who doesn't use video analytics and just wanted to learn about the different companies they all sound the same, use the same terms, and detect the same objects.

As an uneducated person in the small technicalities, it's really hard for me to tell what might be the better solution versus others.

While that's not literally true, of course, I agree with your general view. There are a lot of companies that market extremely similar things, especially in video analytics where there is a mass of companies, related Directory Of 150 Video Analytics Suppliers.

I think we could do some form of comparison table (like where the analytics are performed - cloud, camera, recorder, server - and what analytic types are offered) but unless we test them, we can't evaluate performance. For those that we have done, we have a shootout that might help, see: Camera Analytics Shootout 2020 - Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Dahua, Hanwha, Hikvision, Uniview, Vivotek

Yes, if you can, please do write up a basic comparison table that helps us put these vendors and their analytics products into buckets. There are so many video analytics suppliers, it would be valuable even without evaluations.

Will all videos receive closed caption? It is very important to facilitate the comprehension of some terms used in the presentations by members of other countries, whose native language is not English.

Yes, absolutely we are in the process of transcribing them all. We use a combination of automated and manual transcription and will have them all available by Monday.

Hello Adam, are there any additional materials produced for this show, like transcripts and comparison tables?

Hi Jesus,

The transcripts will be included in the reports after we write them as well as any additional information. For right now we do have the closed captions embedded inside the videos.
