Milestone App - PSIM Lite (Alesys)

By: Brian Karas, Published on Feb 09, 2017

Milestone has many features in their VMS, but it is not a PSIM.

Italian PSIM developer Alesys thinks sensor integrations and alarm management can be improved with a PSIM-lite extension to Milestone XProtect. They are going up against 4 other contestants in the Milestone developer contest, including Parking Spotter, which we recently covered.

The owner of Alesys, Alessandro Ferrari, provided an overview of his company's MIPS entry, and why he feels it fills a niche that Milestone does not currently address. Inside, we examine features, pricing and competitive comparison to existing PSIMs and Genetec.
