Reports Significant 2009 Growth

Author: John Honovich, Published on Jan 06, 2010

Agent Vi is reporting 39% growth in 2009 sales, compared to 2008. They 'expect further dramatic growth in 2010', citing recovering economy, recent addition of Anixter distribution and their video analytic search offering (see our examination of Vi-Search). For 2009 growth, Agent Vi cited specific strengths in both EMEA and APAC regions.

Agent Vi did not disclose actual revenue so it is difficult to gauge the overall impact (i.e., is this 1 million to 1.4 million or 10 million to 14 million? - the larger the base, the harder and more impressive to achieve). Also note that these numbers are self-reported and not audited. Finally, US operations were restructured in 2009.
