Does Razberi face any challenges from people confusing them with Raspberry Pi? When I first saw them, I was a little confused.

I think Salient has these in their lower cost line up.

Is this a serious question?

yes, of course.

i mean i know they are both Orchid VMS compatible, but could the heart of Razberi be another Rasberry?  they’re both linux boards, no?

Razberi Technologies is not affiliated with Raspberry Pi, they also offer a wide range of servers not just the ServerSwitches (Servers w/Embedded L2 Switches). Key differences between them and other server providers is their integrated approach of securing / monitoring video from cyber vulnerabilities without the need of being a network certified specialist. www.razberi.net

No.  The processors in their unit are Intel.  It is possible the switch component contains something like a Raspberry PI?  Doubtful but it's not exactly disclosed.

Sounds serious to me-  I was under the impression the Salient Red3 servers were Razberi?

Salient has stated publicly that their Red3 servers are Razberi OEM.

I am beta testing some stuff for Razberi right now (under NDA) that should solve some of the issues with getting them integrated with established infrastructure. If it works as expected, this will really open up the possibilities.
