Prysm PSIM Profile

A decade ago, PSIM promised significant potential but has always suffered from significant problems. Now, a number of PSIMs have either gone out of business or stopped marketing.

One PSIM provider, France's Prysm never received much attention during the heyday of PSIM but is still around, quietly operating. Based on an integrator member's request to cover more European companies, we reached out to Prysm to better understand their case.

If you are looking to compare European PSIM then perhaps a follow-up article could be on WinGuard from advancis.

I have spoken with their upper management at a number of IFSEC shows and admire the product and company.

It's interesting to see the UI video showing ioimage video analytics which was bought more than 10 years ago.  Was Prysm actually implemented at the North Island Navy Base and if so, is it still in operation?

I believe that DVTel still branded them with the IO Image name up until FLIR bought DVTel a couple of years ago, for what it's worth
