Apex is the recording platform (OWS) OpenEye Web Services is the VMS*

Not according to OpenEye:

Apex VMS is tightly integrated with OpenEye Web Services for complete remote administration of your users and recorders.

Ultimately, we are differentiating the Apex platform with OWS from their older Radius series of recorders.

I've been using OpenEye more frequently over the past year and I feel that their pricing is comparable to other VMS, their thin and thick clients are both very user friendly and intuitive, their timeline search works very well, and their customer service as well as tech support are top notch.

We just completed our integration to this new offering and will offer in both our "On Premise" and "Cloud Hosted" systems. We are getting positive responses from those who are moving in this direction..We OEM from PCO and will offer this as a Galaxy product like we have the NVR/DVRs for the last 11 years. One thing about PCO that is a huge plus is they are very responsive in their engineering support. Great partner.
