Niche Use for TimeSight Systems

In our recent critique of TimeSight System's storage claims, we noted that the best fit would be for niches with "large scale megapixel only systems using MJPEG for long term storage."
A recent interview with a TimeSight end-user [link no longer available] demonstrates this point. Technicolor provides services for creating and managing entertainment video for prominent media companies with highly valuable assets.
In the interview, Technicolor describes their use of megapixel cameras and the requirement for 1 year storage to meet the demands of clients who want assurances that their extremely valuable media is not compromised. Such a use, while uncommon, fits nicely with technical advantages of TimeSight's design.
