Motorola Acquires Videotec
Motorola has acquired Videotec, an Italy-based video surveillance manufacturer, its 9th video surveillance acquisition since 2019 and third so far this year (in March they acquired video analytics startup Ava and last month video analytics start-up Calipsa).
In this note, based on an interview with a Motorola executive, we examine the acquisition, including an analysis of Videotec and its impact on the expansion of the Pelco brand.
