Large Scale Deployment in Pakistani City

By John Honovich, Published on Jan 06, 2010

In a further sign of the rapid expansion of a Pakistani public video surveillance, a new $150 Million USD plus project is being planned in Karachi.

This ambitious project aims to cover 309 sites with 1500 surveillance cameras including megapixel, IR, license plate recognition and video analytics.

This is yet another sign of the dramatic growth in the market with ongoing terrorism attacks and a reminder of the power that terrorism events have in growing the surveillance industry.
