InVid Tech is showcasing an open violation of FDA fever screening guidelines by touting "simultaneous detection of fevers" despite explicit FDA instructions to "measure only one" person at a time.
InVid Tech stood by this open violation, telling IPVM "people want to know the functions of our product, and that is what we are telling them." Of course, this is not InVid's product but a relabel of Sunell's Pandacam (that we have tested here).
This adds to Invid Tech previously falsely claiming its fever products were not medical devices despite the FDA clearly stating such products are.
In this post, we examine this incident and why this increases public safety risk.
