IPVM visited the HQ and factory of Intelbras, Brazil’s largest domestic CCTV company.

In 2020, Intelbras opened a new 495,000 sq. ft. (46,000 m²) factory and filed for an IPO.

Do they really manufacturer cameras though? They are Dahua OEM so what part do they manufacturer?

You're probably looking at assembly of parts, just enough to be able to declare Country of Origin being Brazil.

The concept of significant transformation is not regarded the same way in Brazil as it is in the U.S. and the "Made in Brazil" brand is not as heavily regulated as the "Made in the U.S.A." brand is.

That is to say, a product does not necessarily have to go through a significant transformation in Brazil to be labeled "Made in Brazil."
