A September 2009 market size and forecast study for the Indian Video Surveillance market [link no longer available] has been released. The study, from RNCOS, estimates the current market size at $150 M USD and a CAGR of more than 34% during 2010-2012. 

Like other recent reports, the main driver attributed to the growth is the terrorist attacks in Mumbai.
