Nice report - I am guessing that Mercury would not be interested in providing this data - but I would love to see a listing of what software partners have integrated what features from Mercury into their software. We currently utilize Genetec, but I would be interested to know what other features other software vendors offer on top of what Genetec currently offers.

Would you care to list the features you are looking for in particular? Merc has ~450 page document describing features and sub-features of controllers. No reason to re-document it all. If you can specify what you seek, answers will come sooner.

That is a part of their SDK, which is under NDA. Development partners have access to it. As stated, please list features of interest, then I can comment on what is available in our CredoID software. Sure others will do the same for their product.

I would be interested to know whether an MR52 or LP1502 supports a zone that can activate an output on the same board when an associated input is active

What would a 'zone' be? More than one input sensor on the same circuit?

The term zone is used in Genetec to describe a type of entity that monitors a set of inputs and triggers events based on their combined states. In Genetec the most basic one of these and the one that I am asking about the capabilities with the Mercury hardware is called a hardware zone. In Genetec, a hardware zone can be armed/disarmed by a schedule or by an attached input. When armed, the inputs that its monitoring will generate and alarm. When its disarmed, it will not. It does not have the ability to activate an output.

The hardware zone in Genetec is the type of zone that "lives" closest to the edge of the system as it runs within a mercury controller when a Cloudlink is down. My question about Mercury capabilities is with something similar to what Genetec calls a zone running in the Mercury hardware, is it possible to activate an output when the zone is armed and the input is active? I am trying to determine if the Mercury boards can do this and Genetec decided not to include this capability in their integration.

Brian,

Can you comment on the LP Intelligent Controllers and the MR Series 3 ISO boards lack of support of for complete end to end data encryption both at rest and in motion? Using OSDP V2 Secure Channel (EV2 creds) but face challanges with end to end encryption. To the best of my knowledge they suppport encrption for data at rest but not in motion. Please conrrect me if I am missinformed.
