Wi-Fi HaLow Expands In Physical Security, Issues Remain
Wi-Fi HaLow, a networking protocol offering power consumption and range advantages over conventional Wi-Fi, is expanding as more companies adopt it. But how is it progressing in physical security, and what hurdles remain?
In this report, we examine the progress that Wi-Fi HaLow has made in the past year in physical security based on our interviews with the two main providers of Wi-Fi HaLow chips and comments from several camera manufacturers.
