Startup GateKeeper Aims For Unified Physical / Logical Access Token

By: Brian Rhodes, Published on Apr 04, 2019

This startup's product claims to 'Kill the Password' you use to keep your computers safe.

They have already released their Gatekeeper Halberd token that enables user location to secure Network/ Computer Access, and automatically uses strong 50-character passwords in a wireless dongle.

Now the company has hired longtime Verint and Lenel director Joshua Phillips for its expansion into the physical security market.

We spoke with him to understand those plans and to learn more about the product, analyze its strengths, weaknesses, and pricing compared to similar offerings.
