FLIR Favorability Results 2016

Published Dec 14, 2016 14:01 PM

FLIR has been buying companies one after the other, expanding from its foundations in thermal imaging into an end-to-end video surveillance provider, including acquisitions of budget supplier Lorex, VMS / analytics developer DVTel and camera developer ISD.

In our next installment of integrator favorability results, we examine 100+ integrator's assessment of FLIR. Key findings include:

  • High neutral levels
  • Sharp negativity towards low end / Dahua products
  • Strong positive position towards thermal products

I'm sure this is not an easy one to really measure favorability, given their diverse product line, many of which are acquisitions.

What nationality is FLIR? It's somewhat ambiguous as their "About" page is mostly marketing fluff.

The whole series is to measure favorability of companies, not individual products. We have separate series on that, e.g., Favorite Products and Worst Products.

What nationality is FLIR?

FLIR is a US company.

Thanks. I know FLIR has muti-national coverage, I just wanted to know what nationality the company was legally considered.
