Everbridge is expanding in the security space. In January 2017 Everbridge acquired PSIM platform IDV, and have also begun integrating with other security industry platforms to enhance their product.

Everbridge attempts to solve the problem of keeping employees informed and up to date during emergencies, even when they are dispersed geographically, with their virtual mass notification platform.
