The Information, a subscriber only Silicon Valley technology site, has released a devastating takedown of the problems at Nest, including shocking fights between the CEO of Dropcam and the CEO of Nest.

Exactly. Either this alarm system is going to be insanely different and earth shatteringly disruptive or this is an extremely inept team.

It's taking a while to get it to integrate with NSA servers...

Dropcam's former CEO sent out this snarky tweet after the Information article was published:

This is extremely unprofessional. It is one thing to disagree with one's former co-workers / acquirers but another to disparage them publicly in such a childish manner.

Actually he prefers the honorific CEO Emeritus... He's not bitter, not in the least.

Guy claims to be Nest engineer, describes insane atmosphere inside the company, warns consumers that their products are destined to be expensive paperweights.
