DoD Confirms No Blacklist Delay for Video Surveillance Sellers
The Department of Defense has confirmed to IPVM that the waiver granted does not cover electronics including video surveillance.
As such, the 42-day waiver, until September 30th, only affects contractors' supply to the DoD of "low-risk" products such as clothes, food, and construction materials, the DoD told IPVM. This means a Hikvision user can sell canned food or concrete to the DoD until September 30 but still cannot sell video surveillance gear or other advanced electronics even if NDAA-compliant.
