Vidsys has taken to its blog to defend PSIM against criticism [link no longer available] from the President of a penny stock company using an AOL email address and a website not found on Google.

The company, Infrared Systems International, claims that integration of security information "remains a dream of the Security Industry [link no longer available]." Ironically, Infrared Systems International trades at 2 cents per share and has a market capitalization of $24,000 USD.

We are confused why Vidsys would defend itself against such a strange criticism from a questionable source. On the other hand, Vidsys ran a 2009 webinar defending the very existence of PSIM deployments.

We believe the main concern is the affordability and value of PSIM for the mass market, not that it's a dream or does not exist.
